Booklets cover everything from wedding and funeral programmes to training workbooks, church song books, school readers and annual reports. Choose A5 for handheld programmes or A4 for workbooks and manuals that need writing space.
Saddle stitching (two staples on the spine) is quick and neat for thinner booklets. Wire binding lets a booklet lie flat and suits workbooks. Perfect binding gives a square spine like a paperback but needs glue curing time and a higher page count, so it is less suited to urgent jobs.
Online prices cover our standard booklet: full colour throughout on 115 gsm gloss, saddle stitched, in A5 or A4 from 8 to 32 pages and 25 to 1 000 copies (A3 is priced per page). Anything else is a custom booklet and we quote it: DL, A6 or A3 sizes; covers from 150 to 350 gsm; inside pages from 80 gsm bond up to 200 gsm, gloss or matt; gloss or matt lamination, spot UV or machine varnish; and perfect (PUR), wire, coil or comb binding.
FAQs
Which binding suits my booklet?
Saddle stitch suits thinner booklets such as programmes. Wire binding lies flat for workbooks. Perfect binding suits thicker books that need a printed spine.
How many pages do I need?
Count every page of your artwork, front and back cover included. Booklets are made from folded sheets, so the page count always goes up in fours: each sheet printed on both sides gives four pages (an 8-page booklet is 2 sheets, a 24-page booklet is 6). If your artwork comes to, say, 15 pages, choose 16 and we leave one page blank, normally the inside back cover.
How should I set up the PDF?
Send single pages in reading order, not printer spreads, at the finished size with 3 mm bleed. We impose the pages for printing.
Can booklets be printed on the same day?
Same-day production may be possible for small quantities, subject to product eligibility, stock, capacity, quantity, artwork readiness and finishing, with full payment, usable artwork and approvals before the configured cutoff. Production completion and delivery arrival are separate commitments. Perfect binding usually needs extra time for the glue to cure.
