1. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting a quotation, approving artwork, making payment, placing an order, collecting goods, accepting delivery or instructing SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA to proceed, the client confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
2. Custom-Made Products
All signage, printing, branding and display products are custom-made according to the client’s order, specifications and approved artwork. Custom-made products cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded once production has started.
3. No Cash Refunds
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA does not offer cash refunds on approved, processed, printed, manufactured, delivered or collected custom signage orders. Any possible credit is at management’s discretion only and may be used only for a future order.
4. Quotation Validity
All quotations are valid only for the period stated on the quotation. Prices may change due to material costs, supplier increases, labour requirements, fuel costs or changes in the scope of work.
5. Payment Before Production
No order will be placed into production until the required payment or deposit has been received and cleared. Delays in payment may affect the production schedule and delivery date.
6. Proof of Payment
Proof of payment does not guarantee production until funds reflect in the company’s bank account or payment is verified by management.
7. Production Starts After Approval
Production timelines begin only after payment, artwork approval, final specifications and all required information have been received. Missing information will delay production.
8. Client Must Provide Correct Information
The client is responsible for supplying correct names, wording, spelling, logos, measurements, images, colours, quantities, materials, installation locations and all other order details.
9. Artwork Responsibility
The client is responsible for ensuring that artwork is correct before approval. This includes spelling, grammar, design layout, colours, images, logos, contact details, dimensions and final content.
10. Artwork Approval Is Final
Once artwork is approved, SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will print or manufacture according to that approved artwork. The client accepts full responsibility for any errors approved in the artwork.
11. No Liability for Approved Errors
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will not be responsible for spelling errors, wrong numbers, incorrect logos, poor images, incorrect wording, incorrect colours or design issues that were approved by the client.
12. Client Approval From Their Own Customer
Where the client is supplying signage to their own customer, tender client or third party, the client must obtain approval from that customer before approving artwork with SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA.
13. Reseller Responsibility
If the client is a reseller, contractor, tender holder or middleman, they remain fully responsible for managing their own customer, artwork approvals, specifications and final expectations.
14. Print-Ready Artwork
Clients must provide print-ready artwork where possible. If SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA must design, redraw, fix or prepare artwork, additional design fees may apply.
15. Low-Quality Artwork
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will not be responsible for poor print quality caused by low-resolution images, screenshots, WhatsApp images, compressed files or poor-quality logos supplied by the client.
16. Colour Variation
Colours may vary between screen display and final printed product. Screen colours, phone colours and computer colours are not a guaranteed match to printed output.
17. Material Variation
Materials may vary slightly depending on supplier availability, batch differences and manufacturing tolerances. Minor material variation does not qualify for refund or rejection.
18. Size Tolerance
Slight size variation may occur during printing, cutting, fabrication, trimming, welding, mounting or finishing. Reasonable production tolerance is accepted by the client.
19. Client Must Confirm Sizes
The client must provide accurate measurements. SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will not be responsible for incorrect sizes supplied by the client.
20. Site Measurements
Where SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA is requested to measure a site, the client must ensure access, correct location, correct signage points and final confirmation before production.
21. Existing Structures
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA is not responsible for the condition, strength, safety or suitability of existing walls, frames, poles, brackets, buildings, light boxes or structures unless specifically contracted to inspect and repair them.
22. Structural Safety
The client is responsible for ensuring that the building, wall, frame, pole or installation surface is safe and suitable for signage installation.
23. Permits and Permissions
The client is responsible for obtaining landlord approval, body corporate approval, municipal approval, centre management approval, estate approval or any other permission required before signage is installed.
24. Legal Compliance
The client is responsible for ensuring that their signage is legally permitted at the chosen site unless SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA is specifically contracted in writing to handle compliance applications.
25. Production Timelines Are Estimates
Any production or delivery timeline given is an estimate and may be affected by workload, material availability, weather, supplier delays, power outages, transport delays or circumstances outside our control.
26. Urgent Orders
Urgent orders may attract rush fees. Rush fees do not remove the client’s responsibility to provide correct artwork, clear instructions and fast approvals.
27. Delays Caused by Client
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will not be responsible for delays caused by late payment, late artwork, late approval, unclear instructions, changes, incorrect information or delayed responses from the client.
28. Changes After Approval
Any changes requested after artwork approval or production start may attract additional costs and may delay completion.
29. Cancellation After Production
Orders cannot be cancelled once production, procurement, printing, cutting, fabrication, design or supplier ordering has started.
30. Supplier and Material Procurement
Where materials are sourced specifically for a client’s order, the client remains liable for those costs even if they later change their mind.
31. Collection Responsibility
Once the client is notified that signage is ready for collection, the client must collect within a reasonable time and handle the signage with care.
32. Delivery Inspection
The client must inspect signage immediately on delivery or collection. Any visible damage or shortage must be reported in writing immediately.
33. Delayed Complaints
Complaints raised days, weeks or months after delivery may be rejected where products were already in the client’s possession and control.
34. Responsibility After Delivery
Once signage is delivered or collected, the responsibility for safe storage, handling, movement and protection passes to the client.
35. Storage of Signage After Delivery
The onus is on the client to store signage safely after delivery. Signage must be kept dry, flat where required, protected from sharp objects, heavy pressure, bending, weather, heat, moisture and careless handling.
36. No Liability for Poor Storage
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will not be responsible for damage caused by poor storage, incorrect stacking, exposure to rain, heat, moisture, dust, rough handling or storage by unqualified persons after delivery.
37. Handling of Signage
Signage must be handled by competent persons who understand signage materials. Incorrect handling can cause scratches, cracks, bends, dents, peeling, breakage or print damage.
38. No Liability for Third-Party Handling
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will not be responsible for damage caused by the client, the client’s staff, third-party installers, transporters, builders, electricians, landlords, shopfitters or any other outside party.
39. Installation by Our Team
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA is responsible only for installation work that is specifically quoted, paid for and carried out by our authorised installation team.
40. No Responsibility for Signage Not Installed by Our Team
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will not be responsible for any damage, poor fitting, incorrect installation, falling signage, electrical faults, bending, scratches, breakage, water damage, peeling, structural failure or safety issues where signage is not installed by our authorised installation team.
41. Third-Party Installation Risk
Where the client chooses to install signage themselves or appoint another installer, the client accepts all risks linked to installation, handling, lifting, drilling, mounting, wiring, fitting and site conditions.
42. Installation Damage by Others
Any scratches, cracks, dents, print damage, frame damage or electrical damage caused during installation by another party will not be the responsibility of SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA.
43. Electrical Signage
For illuminated signage, light boxes, LED signage or electrical components, electrical connection must be handled by a qualified person. SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA is not responsible for electrical faults caused by incorrect connection by others.
44. Weather Conditions for Installation
Outdoor installation may be delayed by rain, wind, storms, unsafe working conditions, road access issues or other weather-related factors.
45. Access to Site
The client must ensure safe and clear access to the installation site. If installers arrive and cannot access the site, additional call-out or travel fees may apply.
46. Working at Heights
Where installation requires ladders, scaffolding, cherry pickers, rope access or special equipment, additional charges may apply unless already included in the quotation.
47. Travel and Accommodation Costs
Out-of-town installations may require fuel, tolls, accommodation, labour, vehicle and travel charges. These costs must be confirmed and paid before travel.
48. Free Installation Offers
Any free or discounted installation offered by SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA is a goodwill gesture only and may be withdrawn if the client becomes abusive, delays the process, changes the scope or fails to cooperate.
49. Client Conduct
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA reserves the right to stop communication, cancel goodwill offers, suspend service or refer matters to management where a client abuses, insults, threatens or disrespects staff.
50. Scope of Work
Only the items, quantities, sizes, materials and services listed on the quotation or invoice are included. Anything not listed is excluded and will be charged separately.
51. Installation Exclusions
Unless specifically quoted, installation does not include electrical work, structural repairs, painting, waterproofing, wall preparation, removal of old signage, municipal applications or after-hours labour.
52. Removal of Old Signage
Removal of old signage is not included unless specifically stated on the quotation. Removal may cause wall damage, and SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA is not responsible for repairing such damage unless quoted.
53. Site Readiness
The client must ensure that the site is ready for installation. Wet paint, blocked access, unfinished construction, unsafe surfaces or missing approvals may delay installation and attract additional costs.
54. Product Use and Environment
The client must use signage in the correct environment. Indoor signage used outdoors, temporary signage used permanently, or non-weatherproof materials exposed to weather may fail and will not qualify for refund.
55. Maintenance Responsibility
The client is responsible for maintaining signage after installation or delivery. Cleaning, tightening, electrical checks, storm damage prevention and general maintenance are the client’s responsibility.
56. Vandalism and External Damage
SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will not be responsible for damage caused by vandalism, theft, accidents, storms, wind, water, fire, impact, public interference, building work or any external force.
57. Warranty Limitations
Any warranty applies only to manufacturing defects reported within a reasonable time and does not cover misuse, poor storage, third-party handling, third-party installation, weather damage, vandalism, negligence or approved artwork errors.
58. Dispute Resolution
Any complaint must be submitted in writing with clear photographs, order details, delivery date and explanation of the issue. SAMEDAY PRINT SOUTH AFRICA will review the matter and respond according to its records and terms.
59. Credit Instead of Refund
Where management agrees that a credit is appropriate, such credit will be for future purchases only. It cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another party or treated as an admission of fault.
60. Final Authority
Management reserves the right to make the final decision on complaints, credits, reprints, repairs, goodwill offers, disputed orders and interpretation of these terms and conditions.
